Our Valentine's Day

This year I was really excited for Valentine's Day. So I set my alarm clock really early. I wanted to start the day of right for Kevin and Mckenzee so I made a special breakfast for both of them. Since it was Valentine's Day, I themed breakfast accordingly...............around hearts. Kevin's breakfast consisted of heart shaped bluberry muffins and a glass of orange juice. His little treat was a box of milk chocolate peppermint patties from See's Candies and a single red rose. Mckenzee's breakfast consisted of an egg in the shape of a heart, of course and a giant cup of hot chocolate. Her little treat was a box of assorted See's chocolates in a cute dog box. (Her favorite) She also had a single red rose. They are the loves of my life and I just wanted them to feel a little special and I hope they did.

What a fun Valentine suprise! I love the heart shaped them, I thought the egg was a cookie. How did you make it so nice and fluffy, mine are always pathetic looking:).

Yeah I can't even make regular eggs. The heart muffins are cute and I like the red roses. I'm sure they loved it.

That is so nice. I may need a cooking class. I gave my kids and husband cold cereal and milk for breakfast. I hope they just know I love them.

What a great idea! I'm such a lazy bum...I can barely get myself up when I am supposed to, let alone early! I don't know why it is so strange to me knowing that you actually cook! I can't wait to sample it sometime!

Kierra, I would not call you LAZY at all. You are lucky to get dressed everyday......... raising 4 wonderful kids is not an easy task, but you are great at it and I am sure you did something great for your fam.
